A beautifully practical project bag for knitting and crochet projects. Its generous size means it will comfortably hold sweater, blanket and large shawl projects. You could also use it to keep multiple projects together. 

With plenty of room for your yarn, work in progress and tools, the large Mowing the Lawn project bag is a a practical choice for those larger projects that need a little more space.

Sturdy enough to survive your travels and smart enough to bring out at the cafe afterwards.

Where a specific size is not listed in the description, your bag size will be one of our standard sizes listed below.

Standard approximate size (when lying flat, WxH) and capacity of project bags (WxHxD). There may sometimes be minor variations to these sizes but capacity will remain as stated.

Small

Size: 11.5" x 9" 

Base depth: 4"

Capacity: 2 skeins of 100g yarn

Midi

Size: 14" x 10"

Capacity: 5 skeins of 100g yarn

Large

Size: Regular - 17" x 12" 

Base depth: 7" 

Size: Sheep (styles 1 & 2) - 16" x 12" x 6"

Occasionally the size of the bag will be slightly different to that stated above - to make the most of fabric width / length etc - but capacity will be as stated

Pattern placement will vary from the images shown in the product listing as each bag is handmade and therefore unique. Where relevant a wider sample of the fabric will be shown. 

Made to order project bag process

I aim to have all made to order project bags dispatched within 5 weeks of placing your order although it is usually quicker than this. 

Shipping time will be in addition to this. 

If you need your project bag expedited please feel free to check with me whether this can be done (no promises though!)

Rarely the processing may have to be extended - due to fabric availability or an unexpected event. Where there is any variation to this after placing your order I will email you to advise. 

You will receive a dispatch notification with a tracking reference once your bag has been posted. 

Made to order availability is updated at the beginning of each month. 

USA shipping information

For orders to the US: 

Import duties and tariff charges are payable for orders from the UK to the US. 

These have been applied to your order and are included in the value of each item. 

Parcels will be sent with duty paid, meaning there will be nothing further to pay on arrival. 

Some states operate a separate sales tax and customers may still be required to pay this on receipt of your order. 

Please check your own state requirements to find out whether sales taxes are payable. 

Sales tax is not the responsibility of Eldenwood Craft. 

Packaging and shipping

Your project bag will be packaged in brown paper and sent out in an eco friendly brown paper bag, box or occasionally a compostable bag.

Your bag may be folded for shipping.

Ready to ship bags will usually be shipped within three working days.

Caring for your bag

If your bag has been folded for shipping a gentle iron will bring it back to its beautiful best.

To clean please hand wash gently. The fabric has not been pre-washed and therefore shrinkage may occur if you wash this in a washing machine.

Do not tumble dry.
