Where a specific size is not listed in the description, your bag size will be one of our standard sizes listed below.
Standard approximate size (when lying flat, WxH) and capacity of project bags (WxHxD). There may sometimes be minor variations to these sizes but capacity will remain as stated.

Base depth: 4"
Capacity: 2 skeins of 100g yarn
Midi
Size: 14" x 10"
Base depth: 6”
Capacity: 5 skeins of 100g yarn
Large
Size: Regular - 17" x 12"
Base depth: 7"

Pattern placement will vary from the images shown in the product listing as each bag is handmade and therefore unique. Where relevant a wider sample of the fabric will be shown.

Made to order project bag process
I aim to have all made to order project bags dispatched within 4 weeks of placing your order although it is usually quicker than this. Shipping time will be in addition to this. If you need your project bag expedited please feel free to check with me whether this can be done.
Rarely the processing may have to be extended - due to fabric availability or a greater than expected volume of orders (for example around shop update times). Where there is any variation to this after placing your order I will email you to advise.
You will receive a dispatch notification with a tracking reference once your bag has been posted.

Your project bag will be packaged in brown paper and sent out in an eco friendly brown paper bag, box or occasionally a compostable bag.
Your bag may be folded for shipping.
Ready to ship bags will usually be shipped within three working days.

If your bag has been folded for shipping a gentle iron will bring it back to its beautiful best.
To clean please hand wash gently. The fabric has not been pre-washed and therefore shrinkage may occur if you wash this in a washing machine.
Do not tumble dry.
I really love Emma’s bags and am the proud owner of five of them! I love the quality of the fabric and the heft it has. These are very sturdy and not flimsy. I love the color of the printing because her wonderful photos cannot capture the depth of color. The design of the bag itself by a knitter for a knitter or crocheter is very thoughtful with pockets inside and a light color interior so you can see everything without distraction. I highly recommend these bags and Winter Fun will be a year round favorite for Christmas projects for me.

I love my winter scene medium bag and also the woodland notion pouch that I recently received, The quality is perfect and will last for years to come.Lots of pockets so my crafting project and all the bits and pieces don’t get lost. As always, I am impressed with the beautiful project bag called Winter Fun. This is my 8th project bag and each one is as beautiful as the last. I love the Winter Fun scene because it is reminiscent of winters in Hampshire.
